Nordben was established in 1985 by four Nordic insurers to provide flexible group and individual life and pension insurance solutions for expatriates, third country nationals and internationally mobile employees. That remains the Company's core business, but it has, over the years, extended its business beyond the Nordic region.
Today, Nordben together with its sister Company Euroben Life & Pension Limited, based in Ireland and specialising in EU cross border pension solutions, is owned by BenCo Insurance Holding B.V.
BenCo is supported by shareholders who are all leading providers within the Nordic area.
Nordben is based in Guernsey which has established itself as one of the most successful and secure international finance centres in the world. Guernsey is Europe's leading captive insurance company domicile.
The Company is the market leader in the provision of international and accompanying spouses pension plans to Nordic industry. Also, through membership of the IGP and Insurope networks of life insurance companies, Nordben is able to offer employee benefit services to multinational companies.
