Nordben is a Life and Pension Insurance company co-owned by four leading Nordic Insurance companies. It was established in 1985 to provide flexible pension and insurance solutions designed specifically for internationally mobile employees, expatriates, third country nationals and local key personnel. Nordben is market leader in the provision of international pension plans to  Nordic industry and a leading provider of ’accompanying spouse‘ pension plans.

Today, Nordben holds assets of Euro 750 Million and has an annual premium income of Euro 65 Million.

The Guernsey based staff of more than 30 attend to administrative, technical and financial functions. Nordben commissions external advisors for actuarial, internal audits, investment management and legal support.

Distribution - Nordic business

The international departments of Nordben’s shareholders are the exclusive distributors of our products in the Nordic region - SPP, Sweden (part of the Storebrand group); Storebrand, Norway; Mandatum Life, Finland (part of the Sampo Group) and Varma, Finland are all leading providers in their respective countries.

Distribution - Non Nordic business

International benefit consultants and intermediaries use our products to provide solutions to their clients.
We also work with selected business partners in the development of insurance products which they in turn distribute to their client base.

IGP and Insurope membership

These two networks of life insurance companies provide employee benefit services to multinational companies. Nordben has products that can be included in an IGP or Insurope Account for either reporting or pooling purposes.
