HBN SEK Cash Pool

Overview

Used as an investment vehicle for Nordben, the HBN SEK Cash Pool is managed by Svenska Handelsbanken, Sweden to obtain exposure in the short end of the Swedish Krona yield curve.

The assets of the Pool may be placed in any of the following:

  • Swedish Krona time deposits of less than 30 days
  • Swedish Krona cash Swedish Krona denominated government bills
  • Swedish Krona denominated government bills
  • AAA rated money market funds holding Swedish Krona denominated assets

(Money market funds invest in a range of short-term assets including bank deposits, certificates of deposit, floating rate notes and government bills. AAA Money market funds do not just invest in AAA rated securities. The AAA designation means that a fund meets strict criteria in terms of credit criteria, maturity and diversification. AAA funds will have the highest level of capital preservation and the lowest levels of interest rate volatility.)

Money market funds invest in a range of short-term assets including bank deposits, certificates of deposit, floating rate notes and government bills.

The unit price of the Pool can go down as well as up (for example if the management fee exceeds the income of the fund or an asset falls in value).

The HBN SEK Cash Pool:
