Flex Plan: Investment

The Flex Plan has a low investment risk because capital and bonuses are guaranteed in full (except on surrender within the first 6 years).

The Flex Plan Policyholder Funds currently invest in short dated bonds (mainly 1–3 year bonds).

The bonus rates are determined by referring to available surplus in the appropriate policyholder currency fund. The surplus primarily arises from the investment return earned.
