Flex Plan Bonus: Investment Strategy

Handelsbanken Asset Management manage Nordben’s 7 Flex Plan policyholder funds.

The Flex Plan guarantees the value of the savings contributions paid and accumulated bonuses. Accordingly, investments are generally constrained as follows:

• Investments are primarily in government bonds in the appropriate currency to reduce credit risk from the default of a counterparty.
• The duration (average term) of the assets is kept to a low level to limit the potential adverse impact of interest rate movements on capital values.
• No investments in equities or other potentially relatively risky assets is permitted.
