These rates are applicable from 1 December 2011 and have changed from those previously declared.  See the News items in Product News dated 18 August 2011 and 7 December 2011.

The Flex Plan bonus is added to each policyholder’s account at the end of the year. A proportion of the full annual rate of bonus is credited in relation to each part of the account which has been held for a period other than a full year.

The interim bonus rate applies to policies maturing due to death, retirement, surrender or change of currency, before the next declaration.  The amount credited will be a proportion of the full annual bonus rate based on completed months to the date of claim. Interim bonus rates may be reviewed at any time.
